Girls Only

Today we had only five children at school due to the holiday. We had all girls! Needless to say,we did not leave the dress up room all morning during free choice centers. We played hair parlor for awhile with me being the only client and all five girls acting as stylists. Some pf the girls had picnics and tea parties and the others put on fancy dresses and went downstairs to dance to the music.I offered a few times to go play a game I had set out for today or read a story but the girls were to wrapped up in dramatic play. Another testimony to how we learn through play! Hope you all have a safe and fun holiday!
