I gotta figure out a way to spice up the lesson plans this week. Any ideas?

Food Glorious Food
I have a feeling my post will lack excitement this week. Though I know teaching healthy eating habits is very important, it isnt as much fun as teaching about Eric Carle books or the circus. Today we met " Chef Combo " ( a puppet ) and talked about the meat group. We listed what meats we like to eat and the kids found out that peanut butter falls in that group too !

A few years ago, we made chef hats that looked like Chef Combo's using white construction paper and big pieces of white tissue paper for the top. The kids loved them and played restaurant with them all week.
