Today has been a fun day. We started out celebrating Cinco De Mayo by learning more about it on the computer. We also had some of our spanish speaking friends teach us to say " Happy 5th of May " , " today is the 5th of May" and " thank you " in spanish. We decided together that the rest of the day, if we counted or said thank you, we would try to remember to say it in spanish. We also made Mexican flags ( Minus the eagle in the middle ) and maracas ! Afterwards we played with a pinata and then walked to enjoy a mexican lunch together. We even had friends and moms that met us there. After a great lunch we walked to the mexican bakery next door to get treats for our afternoon snack. Love ... my job.
And finally... siesta.
